What to Do and See in Boston For a Fun-Filled Weekend

The Museum of Science

The Boston Common & Public Garden

Don't forget to check out the gift shop on your way out. This is the best place to pick up souvenirs for the artistic people in your life. Some notable exhibits include "M.S. Escher: Infinite Dimensions" and "French Pastels: Treasures from the Vault." You should spend at least two hours at the MFA unless you have little ones with you. 

The Skywalk Observatory 

Can't get enough of the planets? This is a perfect way to end a weekend in Boston after spending some time at the Museum of Science. Located 50 floors above one of Boston's most popular shopping destinations, the Skywalk Observatory gives you 360-degree views of the city and the Boston Skyline. 

It's also the perfect way to observe the stars and to look at the sunset. Don't spend all your time at the top, though. Check out the vast array of shops, restaurants, and bookstores that Boston has to offer. Spend about an hour at the Skywalk, so you can check out some of the exhibits and other venues below. 

The New England Aquarium 

If you're an animal lover, you'll love the New England Aquarium. This place has every type of animals imaginable such as penguins, sharks, manatee, jellyfish, and more. One notable exhibit is the Shark & Ray Touch Tank exhibit for an up-close and personal look at these feisty fish. Save about one to two hours for the Aquarium, especially if you have kids.
